View a Prototype on a Mobile Browser

We only include Frames with Prototyping Connections. If you have no Prototyping Connections, you won't be able to preview your designs beyond the first Frame.

You can open any Prototyping link on a mobile device. The only thing you'll need is a reliable internet connection.

You can copy a Prototyping link from the browser in Presentation Mode. Or, from the Prototype sharing modal. Learn more in our Share your Prototypes article.

  1. Open the Prototype link on your Mobile Browser.
  2. We will recognize what device you are using and display the Prototype so that it takes up the entire screen.
  3. You can then interact with the Prototype using any Hotspots.

Note: Using the arrow keys - or the back and forwards action on the browser - aren't supported on Mobile devices.

Want to use your mobile device as a remote? You can control Prototypes in Presentation view using Observation mode.

  1. Log in to Figma on Desktop.
  2. Log in on Mobile (not supported via Figma Mirror).
  3. On Desktop, click on your mobile avatar to observe your actions.
  4. You can now use your mobile to navigate between Frames.

Check out our Follow along with Observation Mode article for more information.

View a Prototype using Figma Mirror

You can use the Figma Mirror app to preview static designs and Prototyping interactions.

This allows you to create a more realistic and immersive environment, without the browser header and footer.

We only include Frames with Prototyping Connections. If you have no Prototyping Connections, you won't be able to preview your designs beyond the first Frame.

Note: Some Prototyping interactions won't be supported in the Figma Mirror app (including Horizontal and Vertical Overflow Behaviors). Learn more about Using the Mirror App.
