Manage Failed Payment

Who can use this feature?

✅Users on the Professional Figma plan
✅Only Team Owners or Admins can update Billing details

Every now and then a subscription payment may fail. The most common causes for failed payments are:

  • Insufficient funds
  • An expired credit card

If a payment fails, Figma will attempt payment again the next business day. Your account will be available during this time.

If payment fails after a total of 3 attempts, we will lock down your account. During this time you will no longer have Can Edit access to your Files and Projects.

To unlock your account, you will need to make a successful payment. You can force another payment by updating your payment information in Figma.

Once you have made a payment, we will unlock your account and your access restored.

If you run into any issues with making payment, please contact Figma Support!

  1. Click on the ' ?' in the bottom-right corner of the Figma app
  2. Select "Get Help" and enter your message in the field provided.
  3. Or, email your request to support@figma.com.
