While in beta:
Figma Buzz is free for everyone.
Publishing templates is available on all paid plans. Professional teams can create five team templates.
Once Figma Buzz is out of beta, it will be included on the Full, Dev, and Content seats, in addition to our free Starter plan. We’ll notify you before that happens.
Figma Buzz templates help you quickly create assets—such as social media content, ads, emails, one-pagers, and more—from a pre-made design.
There are two type of templates:
- From Figma: A collection of templates curated by the Figma team. Use Figma-made templates if you have an individual use-case you’d like to explore.
- From your team: Templates made by your team or organization. Use templates made by members of your team to ensure you stay consistent and on brand.
Some templates include multiple layout options that you can browse and customize directly in Figma Buzz. These flexible templates let you choose different layouts or configuration options while keeping your content aligned with your brand.
Browse templates
When you create a new Figma Buzz file, you’ll see the template picker.
From the template picker, you can:
- Browse templates created by Figma or your organization
- Use the search bar to find templates by keyword
- Filter templates by category
- Select a New blank asset to design something from scratch
- Select the New template option to create a new template file
If a template is part of a template set, each layout variation appears individually in the picker.
You can:
- Click a single layout to add it to your file, or
- Select Add all templates to insert every layout from that set.
You can also browse templates from your organization or team's Resources section in the file browser.
Add additional templates to your file
You can add templates at any time, even after you’ve started your file.
- In the left sidebar, click Templates.
- Use the From Figma or Your team tabs to switch between public and internal templates.
- Select a template to add it to your file.
When you add a new template:
- If an asset is selected, the new template appears directly after it.
- If no asset is selected, the new template appears at the end of your file.
You can include multiple templates in one file.
Edit or customize templates
Once you’ve added a template to your file, you can personalize it.
Some templates include multiple layout options or configurable settings designed by your team. The options available to you will vary depending on how the template was built.
Edit text and images
Use the Edit content panel on the left to replace placeholder text or images.
Changes made here update automatically and stay aligned with your brand’s typography and layout settings.

Change layout
If your template includes multiple layout configurations, you can switch between them at any time.
- Select the asset on the canvas.
- Select the Edit content panel from the left sidebar.
- Click Change layout.
- In the Change layout panel:
- Use the Browse tab to scroll through available layout options.
- Use the Customize tab to adjust additional settings, like replacing images or logos, or toggling on/off visibility of other elements
The Change layout option only appears for templates that include multiple layout variations. If you don’t see it, your selected template may not support additional layouts.
Tip: You can also find layout options by selecting an asset and clicking Change layout from the editing toolbar.
Editing guidelines
The template publisher may have adding editing guidelines to the template. When guidelines are active, some parts of the element can’t be edited.
You can still:
- Update approved text and image fields in the Edit content panel
- Switch between any available layouts using Change layout
Note: Templates with editing guidelines applied are outlined in pink.
If you’d still like to make additional edits to a template, you can remove editing guidelines.
- Select the asset.
- From the inline toolbar, click to Remove guidelines.
Note: It’s not possible to remove template guidelines from assets in bulk.
