Failed payments
Every now and then a subscription payment may fail. If a payment fails, Figma will continue to attempt the payment for up to 21 days after the initial failure.
To pay an outstanding invoice, you can do one of the following:
- Update your payment information. Once you’ve updated your payment method, Figma will automatically attempt payments on all outstanding invoices.
- Pay the Stripe invoice directly.
- To pay a Stripe invoice, view your invoice details in Figma, and click the invoice number to open the Stripe invoice.
- If you use a new payment method to pay for the invoice on Stripe, Figma will automatically set this payment method as your default payment method for future charges.
If your payment continues to fail, you may become locked out of your account. During this time, you’ll only be able to view your files and projects, and will not be able to edit them. Once you've made a successful payment, Figma will restore access to your account.
