Who can use this feature
Available on any plan
Anyone with at least can view
access to a slide deck can open the deck in presenter view
Figma Slides makes it easy to share slide decks with your audience, whether you’re presenting on your own or with others. In this article, we’ll cover a few tips to preparing your slide deck for a smooth presentation.
Prepare for presenters
If you’re presenting with a group, each presenter must have at least can view
access to the slide deck.
Before starting the presentation, make sure each presenter has the slide deck open in presenter view. This allows them to take over the spotlight when it’s their turn to present so no one ever has to say “Next slide” again. Learn more about using spotlight in Figma Slides →
Presenter view has two options:
- Present in full screen: Opens your currently selected slide in a new tab without presenter notes visible.
- Present with presenter notes: Opens your currently selected slide in a new tab with presenter notes visible and opens a new window with your presentation in audience view. Learn more about adding presenter notes to slides →
To open a slide deck in presenter view:
- Open the deck you want to present.
- Click Present in the right sidebar.
- Choose one of the following:
- Present: Opens your slide deck in a new tab without presenter notes visible
- Present + Notes: Opens your slide deck in a new tab with presenter notes visible and opens a new window that displays your presentation in an audience view. If you’re sharing your screen using a video conferencing tool, make sure to set the screen share to the audience view window so your audience has an uninterrupted view of your presentation.
Present offline
To avoid disruptions due to internet connection issues, you can preload slide decks to present while offline.
- Click Present in the right sidebar to open the deck in presenter view.
- Click the options menu in the top toolbar.
- Select Make available offline.
- Wait for Available to present while offline to appear in the header. Once this icon appears, you’re ready to present offline.
Keep the presenter view tab open to present. If the tab is closed, the slide deck must be preloaded again in order to present offline.
Note: Embedded prototypes and YouTube videos in slide decks cannot be interacted with when offline.
Prepare for audience members

Slide decks without interactive elements
If you don’t use interactive elements in your deck, and plan to present while sharing your screen using a video conferencing tool, you don’t need to give your audience access to the slide deck.Â

Each slide deck has a presentation link. Share this link with your audience so they can open your slide deck in the audience view and use live interactions on slides.
Note: Audience members must be logged in to their Figma accounts to be able to open the slide deck.
To copy the presentation link:
