Before you start
Who can use this feature
While in beta, Figma Buzz is available on all seats and plans.
You can add, move, and delete assets in your Figma Buzz file. You can also create asset rows to help organize your work.
Add, duplicate, and delete assets
Add a new asset
When you create a new Figma Buzz file, you’ll see the template picker and options to start from a blank asset. Once you have an asset on your canvas, you can:
- In Asset view, click New asset in the left sidebar to choose a new blank asset format or a template
- In Grid view, click the blue plus icon next to an asset to add a new asset of the same size
- In Bulk edit, click + Asset at the bottom of the table to add a new asset.
Duplicate an asset
- In Asset view or Grid view, select the asset you want to duplicate, right-click, and select Duplicate.
- In Bulk edit, check the asset you want to duplicate from the table and press Command/Ctrl D.
Delete an asset
To delete an asset, select the asset you want to delete and press Delete / Backspace.
Organize your assets
Group assets by row
You can group assets by adding them to rows. This is useful for organizing assets by channel, size, or theme. Rows wrap to the next line below after 12 assets.
Asset view
- Select the asset in the left sidebar.
- Drag the selected asset under another asset row to nest it. An indented blue line appears, indicating that the asset will be added to the row.
Grid view
- Select the asset on the canvas.
- Drag the selected asset next to another asset to add it to a group.
Reorder assets
There are multiple ways to change the order of assets:
Asset view
- In the left sidebar, select the asset you’d like to move.
- Drag the asset up or down to reorder it.
Grid view
- Select the asset you’d like to move.
- Drag the asset to reorder it. If the asset is part of a row, you can drag it left or right to reorder it within the row.
Bulk edit
- Hover over the leftmost cell of the row you'd like to move. A drag handle appears.
- Click and drag the row up or down to reorder it.
