Figma Make and the Figma Community
Before you start
Who can use this feature
Figma Make is in open beta.
While in beta, Figma Make is available on all paid plans.
Requires a Full seat.
Figma Make includes the ability to attach designs from the Figma Community directly to prompts in Figma Make.
Attribution
When a Community design is attached to a prompt in Figma Make, a reminder appears above the prompt box that lists the designs. Additionally, Figma Make creates an Attributions.md
file that includes a list of all assets that require attribution. The file is packaged with the functional prototype or web app to ensure proper attribution to original creators.
For Figma Make users
When you’re attaching designs to your Figma Make file, you can search the Community for content to attach to your prompts. To learn how to attach designs, including community content, see Attach designs and images to a prompt.
Paid resources
If you’ve previously paid for a design file, you can use the content from the file by copying and pasting frames and components into the prompt box of the AI chat. Paid resources won’t appear in the Community search.
For Community file creators
It’s important to Figma that we do our best to ensure the files you create and share in the Community, including the designs and components, get proper attribution when they’re being used in Figma Make.
We understand that you may want to opt your Community files out of appearing in the search. If you don’t want your Community files to appear in the search, you can opt your entire account out by submitting a request to Figma. You cannot opt out individual files.
