Who can use this feature
While in beta:
Figma Buzz is free for everyone.
Video import and export is available on paid plans.
Once Figma Buzz is out of beta, it will be included on the Full, Dev, and Content seats, in addition to our free Starter plan. We’ll notify you before that happens.
Using videos in your assets opens up new possibilities—whether you're building engaging social media stories, showcasing product demos, or creating dynamic marketing content. Instead of relying on static visuals, you can now integrate motion, sound, and storytelling directly into your Figma Buzz projects.
Import videos
You can import .mp4 and .mov files to your Figma Buzz file.
Videos can be added either directly to an asset, or via the Edit content tab when working with templates that support media customization.
Add videos directly to asset
- Select Images & video from the left navigation bar.
- Click Upload.
- Choose one or more video files from your device.
- Click to place the video on the asset.
You can also drag and drop files directly from your device to your Figma Buzz file.
Add videos to template
If you’re using a template, you can replace placeholder media with a video via the Edit content tab:
- Add a template to your file.
- Select Edit content from the left navigation bar.
- In the Media section, hover over an existing image or video and click Choose media.
- Select a file from your device to upload.
Note: If you don’t see any editable media fields in the Edit content tab, the template creator may have locked those assets.
