The Selection colors section in the right sidebar allows you to view and adjust color fills when your selection includes objects with mixed fills.
Selection colors will display solid colors and gradients applied to layer or stroke fills in the current selection. It will not include pattern, image, or video fills, hidden fills, or masks.
Note: When selecting a boolean group, only colors applied to the combined group will be included in the Selection colors section. Colors applied to individual child layers included in the boolean group won't be displayed.
View selection colors
The Selection colors section only appears in the right sidebar when your selection contains objects with mixed fills.
Figma groups colors by variable, style, and normal fills, and each fill only appears once.
From the Selection colors section, you can:
- Click on a normal fill to open the color picker. This allows you to adjust the fill properties such as fill type, color, opacity, and blend mode. Learn more about using the color picker.
- Click on a style or variable to open the Libraries tab in the color picker. This allows you to select from a list of styles or variables created in the file, or ones from libraries that have been added to the file.
- Click Detach to detach the style or variable.
- Click the target icon to select all layers that use that color.
- Click Style next to a normal fill to open the Libraries tab in the color picker. This allows you to apply a style or variable to the selected color, or create a new one.
- Use the percentage field to adjust the fill's opacity.
