Who can use this feature
View installed plugins
View and manage your installed plugins from within a file or in the plugin management modal, located in the Plugins tab of your account settings.
The icons on the corner of each plugin icon distinguish where the plugin works:
- Made for Figma design
- Made for FigJam
- Works everywhere
Note: You don’t need to install a plugin in order to use it. However, when you install a plugin, you will be able to run the plugin in your drafts, as well as within team files. Use plugins in files →
Figma links any plugins you install to your Figma account. If you’ve added profile connections, installing a plugin will install the plugin on your connected accounts.
You can only install plugins on Figma design.
There are a few ways to access your installed plugins:
File browser
- Open the file browser.
- Click on the account menu in the top-right and select Plugins. This will open the plugins management modal.
- View plugins by Installed, In development, and Published.
In a Figma file
File menu
- Go to the File menu in the top-left corner of Figma.
- Hover over Plugins > Installed Plugins in the menu.
Right-click menu
- Right-click anywhere on the board or editor.
- Hover over Plugins > Installed Plugins in the menu.
Resources modal
- Click to open the Resources modal.
- Click on the Plugins tab.
- Select Installed from the dropdown in the top-left.
Uninstall plugins
When you uninstall a plugin, Figma will immediately remove it from your account. You can always install the plugin if you want to use it again.
You can uninstall plugins a couple of ways:
Plugin management modal
Uninstall plugins from plugin management modal. This is great if you want to remove multiple plugins.
- Open the plugin management modal to view your installed plugins.
- Click next to the plugin.
- Select Uninstall.
Resources modal
Uninstall plugins from the Resources modal in Figma. With a Figma file open:
- Click to open the Resources modal.
- Click on a plugin to view its details
- Click > Uninstall
Contact plugin developers
Figma is not able to provide support for third-party applications, including plugins. If you have questions about, or issues with a plugin, we recommend reaching out to the developer.
Every plugin must provide a Support contact. This can be an email address, a website, or a link to a help center. Find the Support contact in the details of the plugin page.
You can access the listing from your installed plugins by doing one of the following:
Plugin management modal
- Open the plugin management modal to view your installed plugins.
- Click next to the plugin and select View details. This will open the plugin's listing.
- Scroll to find the Support contact in the details.
Resources modal

- Click to open the Resources modal.
- Click on a plugin to view its details.
- Click See more details in Community at the bottom.
Plugin(s) not showing up? If you are a member of an Organization, Admins can restrict which public plugins you can install and use.
Reach out to an Organization Admin to request a plugin for approval.
When an Organization enables the approve list, you can't use any plugins your Organization hasn't approved. You can still use any existing plugins you have installed in your personal space.
Report a plugin
Report plugins that are inappropriate, or look suspicious, to the Figma team.

- Open the plugin listing.
- Click the Flag as inappropriate link on the right-hand side.
- This will create a new email message on your computer's default email app. Add details of your report in your message.
- When you're finished, send your email message to our plugins review team to review your feedback.
