Who can use this feature
Supported on any plan
Only those with access to the Figma agent can build and publish shaders
When you're ready to share your shader, you can submit it to the Figma Community for others to discover and use in their designs.
Shader review process
Before Figma lists a shader in the Figma Community, it needs to go through our review process. Figma doesn't review any shaders you choose to share privately within an organization. Learn more about Figma's Shader Review Guidelines.
When you first submit a shader for review, Figma will add an In review under your shader.
Figma will contact you via your Figma account email to notify you of our decision. Our goal is to be thoughtful and reasonably prompt in our review. Approval times vary depending on current volume and the team’s availability.
Once approved, you’ll be able to view the published version as well as the local version of your shader. If Figma rejects your shader, you can address any feedback and submit again.

Publish an update
Publish updates to your shader if you've made changes to the code or fixed a bug. You can also edit the details of your shader page at any time without publishing a new update. Learn how to publish updates to and manage your shader.
Share your shader
Published shaders have their own listing in the Figma Community, which allows other Figma users to find and install them.
Every shader has a unique URL that you can copy and share with others. Find the shader URL in the Share section of a shader listing. It will look something like this: https://www.figma.com/community/shader/uniqueidentifier
If you have more than one shader, you may want to share your creator profile instead. Learn more about Community profiles.
