- Anyone with can view or can edit access to a FigJam file can use emotes.
Stamps can be placed in a file for visual feedback. These are great for both live and async collaboration.
Emotes are temporary and great for live, energetic reactions with others who are active in a file.
Stamps
Stamps are emoji stickers you can place on a board or object to communicate feedback.
Use stamps to:
- Generate heat maps
- Vote between several ideas
- Assign people to tasks
- Gather asynchronous input
Note: It's not possible to customize the stamp wheel with your own stamp designs. Instead, use sticker packs from libraries for more options, or use them as inspiration to make and publish your own from Figma Design.
How to use stamps:
- Open the stamp picker:
- Click Stamp in the toolbar, or
- Press E on your keyboard
- Select a stamp. To view more emoji options, select the plus icon in the center of the stamp wheel, or press E.
- Click on the board or on an object to place the stamp.
The center of the stamp wheel displays a combination of recently and frequently used stamps. To exit out of the stamp tool, press esc or click elsewhere on the board.
Stamps attach to objects when you place them on top of items like sticky notes or images. Attached stamps move with the object when it’s repositioned.
Tip: Hover your cursor over a stamp on the board to see who added it.
