Who can use this feature
Available on the Organization and Enterprise plans
Organization admins only
Figma has two products that let users publish to the web:
- Figma Sites helps designers, marketers, and developers build and publish high-quality websites, such as blogs, landing pages, and project showcases.
- Figma Make is a prompt-to-code tool that lets you bring ideas and existing Figma designs to life as functional, interactive web apps and UI. Through conversation with AI or editing code, you can ideate, iterate, and publish your apps.
By default, anyone with a Full seat can publish to the web using Figma Sites or Figma Make. However, organization admins have the ability to disable web publishing to align with their company’s information security practices.
When publishing is disabled, users can continue using Figma Sites and Figma Make to design, code, and preview their work in a browser-like environment—they just won’t be able to publish it to the web.
Restrict or enable site publishing for your organization
- From the file browser, click Admin.
- Click the Settings tab.
- In the External access section, click Web publishing and enable or disable the feature.
Caution: When you disable web publishing, all published sites and web apps in your organization will be immediately unpublished.
