Weave tools in Figma are in open beta. They are free to use during the beta, so AI credits are not consumed for any prompts or actions. This allows you to explore and experiment without worrying about credit usage. Once Weave tools in Figma become generally available, AI credit usage will apply.
Weave tools are AI-powered apps you can use on your design content. For example, you can use Weave tools to generate variations, retouch an image, or apply a style.
To get started, select an image on your Figma Design canvas and choose a tool, or browse available tools first and select your input after.
Note: In October 2025, Figma announced the acquisition of Weavy, now Figma Weave. Figma Weave is a creative platform for AI-native media generation and editing. Figma Weave is available today as a standalone experience at weave.figma.com. Over time, Figma Weave will integrate into the rest of the Figma platform.
