Mind maps are a great way to visually organize information into a hierarchy, showing relationships among pieces of the whole.
In FigJam, mind maps are composed of nodes, which are the text fields, shapes, or stickies representing an idea or step. Nodes on the same level of a hierarchy are siblings, while nodes on a lower or following level are children.
Use mind maps to:
- Create decision trees
- Brainstorm ideas and flows
- Visualize hierarchy for information, systems, and organizations
- Illustrate relationships and structures
