Claim ownership of a folder

If there is no longer an owner of a folder, the team owner or a team admin can join the folder as the owner.

This applies to:

• Folders shared with the entire team without an owner
• Folders with access set to Only those invited without an owner

Claim ownership of a folder

1. Navigate to the folder in the file browser.
2. Click the Join as Owner button.

Once you have claimed the folder, you can:

• Move the folder between teams
• Transfer ownership of the folder
• Delete the folder
