Before you Start
Who can use this feature
You can update team permissions on any team plan.
Both team Owners and Admins can update team permissions.
Teams allow you to create and share resources, and collaborate on files and projects.
When you invite someone to the team, you can choose what permissions they will have have. Their permissions will define how they can interact with files and projects in that team.
You can update a member's permissions at any time. This means you can:
- Upgrade a Viewer to an Editor to give them edit access to team files.
- Downgrade an Editor to a Viewer to restrict their access.
Note: When you upgrade someone to an Editor, Figma will include them in your Editor count. Figma uses your Editor count to calculate your team invoice. Downgrading a member will remove them from both your Editor count and your billing.
Update team permissions
