Teams are designated spaces for folders and files within an organization. You can use teams to collaborate with others or to organize your work across your organization.
Organization and Enterprise plans include unlimited teams. You can create as many teams as you need and join multiple teams to work cross-functionally and share resources.
You can see a list of teams associated with your account from the file browser.
Note: Unlimited teams are available on Organization and Enterprise plans. On Starter and Professional plans, you have one team for organizing your files and folders—learn how Starter and Professional plans are organized.
Who can manage a team?
In Figma, admins manage teams.
Learn more about admins in Figma.
Organization admins (Organization and Enterprise plans)
Organization admins have the highest level of access in an organization. From Admin, they can:
- Join any visible teams as a team admin
- Manage team settings without joining the team, including name, access settings, members and their permissions, icon, and description
- View the names of hidden teams
- Join hidden teams as an owner only if the team has no owner and no team admins
Workspace admins (Enterprise plans)
Workspace admins have the same permissions as organization admins, but their scope is limited to the workspaces where they are designated as admins. Learn about workspaces.
Team admins
A team admin can manage all the settings of a single team, including people, resources, and access within the organization. They can also delete the team.
