Organization plan billing
Only organization admins can manage billing on the Organization plan.
The Organization plan uses an annual subscription with quarterly invoices. Your subscription cost is based on the number of Full, Dev, and Collab seats. View seats are free.
Note: Billing is separate from permissions. A paid seat gives someone access to Figma products, while permissions determine what they can do in specific files or projects.

Organization plan permissions
In Figma organizations, you can share resources at multiple levels: organization, team, project, file, and prototype.

The following specifications apply to the Organization plan:
- You can invite members or guests. Guest refers to anyone in the organization that doesn't have a company email, and can have limited access to the organization.
- Viewer restrictions: Prevent viewers from copying, sharing, or exporting file content.
- Password protection: Add a password to restrict access to shared files.
- Organization admins can disable public link sharing for the organization. This prevents people outside the organization from accessing files via link sharing.
- You can toggle on the option for organization members to be able to discover file via search in the file browser from advanced share settings. If the option to discover a file via search is disabled, organization members will need the direct file link or be invited to the file or project the file is in to be able to access it.
- Draft files are always private until you share them. You can invite collaborators to your draft files with either
can view
orcan edit
access.- If someone with a View seat shares a file from their drafts, they will be prompted to request a seat upgrade.
- Drafts are owned by the organization. When a member leaves, the organization can claim ownership of any draft files.
