The Starter plan is a free Figma plan. The Starter plan might be right for you if you:
- Are working on personal projects
- Need basic design, presentation, and brainstorming tools

Products and features
On the Starter plan, you can access the following Figma products:
Dev Mode is not available on the Starter plan.
Additionally, there is limited feature availability within in each product on the Starter plan. For example:
- No team libraries
- Only 30 days version history
- No publishing in Figma Sites
- No template publishing in Figma Slides or Figma Buzz
- No SSO or advanced security settings

Starter plan structure
The Starter plan includes a single team and project.
Within the project, Starter teams are limited to:
- 3 total Figma Design and Figma Sites files
- 3 FigJam files
- 3 Figma Slides files
- 3 Figma Buzz files
- 3 Figma Make files
On the Starter plan, you can have an unlimited number of drafts. Drafts are files that have not been moved into a project.

Starter plan permissions
You can share different kinds of resources in Figma: files, prototypes, projects and teams.
When you share a resource in Figma, you set permissions to can edit
or can view
. Permissions determine how a user can interact with the resource.
On the Starter team, keep in mind the following specifications when it comes to sharing and permissions:
- Team members can access the project based on their team-level permissions. If you want to make projects with
can view
access or have projects that are only open to those invited, you need to upgrade to a paid plan. - On the Starter plan, you can only invite collaborators to drafts with
can view
access. If you want to invite collaborators to your draft files with edit access, you need to upgrade to a paid plan.
